TV 5 has issued an official apology regarding a news report read by Gretchen Ho on an episode of *Frontline sa Umaga*, which incorrectly stated that Vice Ganda and Marian Rivera had reconciled after their rift. The report was met with backlash from Vice Ganda himself, who took to Twitter to call out the segment, labeling the information as both malicious and inaccurate.

In response to the uproar, Gretchen Ho acknowledged the mistake and confirmed that an erratum had been issued to clarify the erroneous report. “We issued an erratum this morning on #FrontlineSaUmaga for yesterday’s erroneous news report,” she stated. She also emphasized the network’s commitment to preventing similar issues in the future, saying, “Rest assured, we are reviewing internal processes to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Apologies to @vicegandako and Ms. Marian Rivera. We will do better.”
