Anne Curtis turned emotional when she arrived at the venue for her surprise bridal shower organized by her It’s Showtime family last November 3.
The 32-year-old actress/TV host burst into tears as soon as Vhong Navarro handed her a bouquet of flowers.
Anne’s co-hosts Vice Ganda, Karylle, Amy Perez, and Tedd Corpuz were also present during the occasion.
In her impromptu speech, Anne described how her colleagues gave her all sorts of alibis while she was on her way to the bridal shower.
“Thank you my Showtime family. Sobra akong na-surprise…
“It really is such a huge and amazing new chapter that is about to happen in my life.
“I just like to thank all of you for being part of it.
“I’m so happy to have you guys as I start this new chapter in my life.
“I love you!”
Anne also mentioned that November 4 would be her “last day” at work since she will be taking a leave of absence in preparation for her wedding with fiancé Erwann Heussaff this month.
To spice up her bridal shower, the all-male group Hashtags performed a sexy dance number of Bruno Mars’s “Versace On The Floor.”
As seen in the photo below, ABS-CBN Chief Operating Officer Cory Vidanes, Entertainment Production TV Head Lauren Dyogi, and the rest of the team behind It’s Showtime also attended the party.
