Vice Ganda Admits Trying to Cure Gender with Girlfriends During Totoy Days
Unkabogable comedian Vice Ganda admitted having girlfriends during his “totoy” days while trying to cure his gender.
Former Manila Mayor Francisco Isko Moreno Domagoso created the YouTube show ISKOVERY NIGHT, in which he previously interviewed multi-award actor Coco Martin on the inaugural episode.
The Unkabogable comic Jose Marie Viceral, also known as Vice Ganda, was interviewed on the second episode of Isko’s talk show. Vice had five girlfriends before to his current happy marriage with Ion Perez, which not everyone would believe.
Vice Ganda’s boyhood in Blumentritt, Manila, was discussed, notably the acceptance of the then “Totoy” in his sexuality. He attempted to cure his true identity, according to the comedian, by having girlfriends.
“I have always known, I have always felt na bakla ako. Alam ko na pero nilalabanan ko siya kasi sabi ko nga dati, mag-gi-girlfriend ako. I was trying to cure it until I realized-bakit ko kinu-cure eh hindi naman ‘to sakit, o disability. Hindi naman siya nagbabago, nagka-girlfriend lang ako pero bakla pa rin ako,” the Kapamilya star shared with Isko.
“Hindi ko kayang humalik. ‘Di ko kayang humalik sa labi. Hindi ko kayang humawak sa d*d*. Nanginginig ako na naninigas ako, I swear kinilabutan talaga ako,” he added with a laugh as he explained the “Unkabogable Star.”
Following that, Meme revealed the few times he dated in the past, which only served to reveal his actual self more and more.
“Yun ka. Hindi talaga ‘yun mababago. Kahit anong klaseng pagbabagong ipilit o ilagay mo sa sarili mo, sinasabi mo lang ‘yun pero hindi mo talaga ‘yun nababago,” he said in the show.
