On Reina ng Tahanan’s latest segment on It’s Showtime, a contestant shared her tragic story where she caught her live-in partner in the arms of another woman [in their own home].
The mother-contestant ended up beating the other woman. The two hosts shared their thoughts about the contestant’s story. Kim Chiu blamed the other woman, but Vice Ganda tried to correct the female host’s perception.
“’Yung babae po kasi eh ilang beses nang pinagsabihan. Ilang beses ko na siya sinabihan na layuan mo na eh kasi may kinakasama na, may anak na. Kasi ‘di ba po, kung ikaw, matino kang babae at alam mong may kinakasama na at may anak na, ikaw yung didistansya,” the contestant shared.
“Eh di ba hindi rin matino ‘yung lalaki mo kasi kung matino siyang lalaki bakit pumatol pa siya sa babae e may babae na siyang naanakan,” Vice Ganda was quick to respond to the contestant.
Chiu swiftly interjected and blamed the issue on the other woman: “De, minsan nasa babae din. Nasa babae din. Nasa tamang harot lang din yan. Kasi ang lalaki mahina, oo, marupok sa harot na tinatawag. Tama?”
“So may kasalanan ‘yung lalaki, hindi ‘yung babae?… Hindi. Pareho. Hindi mo pwedeng isisi lang dun [sa lalaki]… pareho silang malandi. It takes two to tango. Hindi makakasayaw ‘yan kung walang partner, di ba?
“Actually ang nanloko nga sa ‘yo hindi yung babae kasi wala naman siyang obligasyon sayo eh. Wala siyang pinangako sayo, wala kayong usapan. Ang may obligasyon sa ‘yo yung lalaki kasi kayo ang may pagkakaunawaan ‘di ba? Hindi mo partner ‘yung babae,” Vice rebutted Kim’s statement.
“Pareho sila. Dalawa silang may kasalanan sa ’yo. Kaya nagtataka ako kung bakit isa lang. Kumbaga sa krimen, bakit isa lang ang merong…accountability. Dalawa silang may accountability. Kumbaga sa asunto, dalawa silang makukulong,” Vice added.
