Viu original drama series Secret Ingredient will officially air on Viva One starting on Wednesday, October 30.
The international drama, which has been nominated for Best Original Digital Series at the 2024 Asian Television Awards, stars Julia Barretto, Sang Heon Lee, and Nicholas Saputra.
Lee is best known for making his acting debut in the Netflix series XO, Kitty, a spin-off of the To All The Boys film franchise. Saputra, on the other hand, is an award-winning Indonesian actor who rose to fame with his roles in the films Ada Adapa Dengan Cinta? and Gie.
Secret Ingredient centers around a Korean social elite who gives up his entire luxurious life in Seoul in search of his childhood girlfriend.
Julia plays Maya in the series, a chef who wants to win a cooking competition so she can use the prize money to pay for her mother’s medical bills.
The actress has been enjoying success in showbiz recently. Apart from being part of the blockbuster triumph of the film Un/Happy For You, which she starred in alongside Joshua Garcia, she is also nominated for Best Leading Actress in a Digital Series for the aforementioned awards night, which will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia from November 29-30.
