Marian Rivera was asked about one of the most talked about showbiz breakups this year

Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera shared her thoughts on the breakup between Kapamilya stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

The KathNiel breakup created noise on social media, as well as in showbiz circles. More personalities got involved as days went by. Speculations about the reason for the breakup circulated.

Both Kathryn and Daniel shared a post confirming their breakup. However, they shared wonderful words about their relationship for the past 11 years and did not say anything bad about each other.

Following their breakup confirmation, they even had their appearance together for the ABS-CBN Christmas Special and the KathNiel fandoms loved how they stayed professional despite the separation.

In a recent interview with veteran journalist Korina Sanchez, based on the article in Balita, Marian Rivera, who is known as friends with Kathryn Bernardo, was asked about the KathNiel breakup.

Marian was asked when she analyzes the breakup and her answer was, “Well, siguro hindi ina-analyze kasi kaibigan ko si Kath, e. So, minsan kasi ang hirap i-compare o mag-judge tayo agad-agad.”

She added that she would always say that the perfect timing is when the two parties reach a certain kind of maturity.

When it comes to loveteams in general, Marian said that it helped her and her husband Dingdong Dantes that their loveteam started when they were both mature already. The actor was already in his late 20s when the onscreen partnership happened while the actress was in her mid-20s.

“Kung mas maaga sana siguro kaming naging magka-love team tapos nagkaroon kami ng relationship, feeling ko ‘di rin kami tatagal,” Marian Rivera said.

Meanwhile, the DongYan tandem had their reunion movie this year. They starred in the Star Cinema movie Rewind which is part of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2023.
