‘Food n others’: Donny Pangilinan shares Valentine’s spent with Belle Mariano

MANILA, Philippines — Donny Pangilinan made his and Belle Mariano’s DonBelle fans “kilig” anew with a subtle but sweet update on what went on his and Belle’s Valentine’s Day taping for their hit series “Can’t Buy Me Love.”

In an Instagram post last Valentine’s Day, Donny shared photos of his food and some scenes from the taping. He captioned the post, “food n others dis week.”

Among the pictures that made the day of DonBelle fans were Donny’s picture with Belle and one of the series’ directors, Mae Cruz Alviar; and two cups set against a scenic out-of-town taping, making fans believe that the two cups represent DonBelle.

At a recent pre-Valentine event organized by QuickFX, which Donny endorses, the actor shared that he and Belle would spend Valentine’s Day taping for their series.

“How are we gonna celebrate Valentine’s? I believe we’re gonna be taping out-of-town. So tignan natin kung anong mangyayari d’un, but that’s where we’re gonna spend it, unless the schedule changes,” he told Philstar.com in an interview.

When asked what he gives his mom, actress Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan, and sisters, every Valentine’s, he said, “I give them flowers.”

But when asked what he gives or gave Belle, he played coy, saying: “Bakit ko sasabihin sa’yo? (Why should I tell you?)”

At the QuickFX pre-Valentine event, Donny gave away flowers to 50 lucky fans.

“My best advice this Valentine’s Day? Love yourself, that’s the best thing you can do. And that also means taking care of your skin. The most important thing is to be comfortable in your own skin,” he said as Valentine’s message for his fans.
