Kobe Paras has finally addressed rumors surrounding his relationship with actress Kyline Alcantara, leaving veteran talent manager and entertainment columnist Lolit Solis stunned during a recent encounter.

In a social media post, Solis shared her surprise when the professional basketball player directly confirmed his relationship with Alcantara during a conversation. According to Solis, Paras responded firmly when asked about his rumored romance with the actress.

“Please, walang bastusan. Kyline is my girlfriend,” Paras reportedly said before turning his back and walking away, much to Solis’ astonishment. The exchange happened during an event where the two crossed paths, as recounted by Solis on her Instagram account.

 

Solis was taken aback by Paras’ boldness but admired his confidence and pride in Alcantara. “Talagang laugh ako dahil parang sobra sa pagmamalaki si Kobe na girlfriend niya si Kyline. Sobrang lucky ni Kyline dahil proud na proud si Kobe Paras sa kanya,” she shared in her post.

The veteran showbiz insider also joked about how she teased Paras, suggesting he should aim for bigger stars like Sharon Cuneta or Kris Aquino. However, Paras remained unbothered, showing his firm stance on the matter.

“Hindi siya nag-goodbye sa akin, snob ako totally,” Solis humorously recalled, adding that even Benjie Paras, Kobe’s father, joined in her laughter.

Solis praised Paras’ transparency, pointing out that the athlete has no qualms about expressing his true feelings, even if it means brushing off people who don’t share his sentiments. “Ipinakikita niya kung ano ang nararamdaman niya, hitsurang ma-snub niya mga tao na feeling niya hindi niya kakampi,” she added.

Despite the playful teasing, Solis wished the couple well, saying, “Bagay sila Kobe Paras at Kyline Alcantara. Sana nga magtagal at mag-end sa altar ang relasyon nila.”

The relationship between Paras and Alcantara has been the subject of speculation since May, when eagle-eyed netizens noticed that the two had posted photos from the same restaurant. Alcantara later revealed that she had introduced Paras to her ‘Shining Inheritance’ co-stars, further fueling rumors of their budding romance.

The couple has yet to officially confirm their relationship to the public, but with Paras’ recent remarks, it seems their connection is stronger than ever.
