Isinoli na ni Miss Grand Myanmar Thae Su Nyein ang koronang natanggap bilang 2nd runner up at tinanggap na ito ni MGI President Nawat Itsaragrisil.

Naglabas na ng kanyang opisyal na pahayag si Miss Grand Myanmar Thae Su Nyein matapos ang madramang ganap sa gabi ng koronasyon ng Miss Grand International.

Sa video na ipinost ng Facebook page ng Missosology, ipinaliwanag ni Thae na isinosoli na niya ang kanyang korona bilang 2nd runner up ng Miss Grand International (MGI) 2024.

“I’m not controlled by anyone. I just take my own decision. I give up my second runner-up crown just because we don’t get what we deserve, our National Costume prize and our Country Power (and) not the winner crown.

“I’m not going on my sisters I love India, I love Philippines. You’re my best sisters of all the time. I don’t blame them. I’m just saying the National Costume prize, the Country Power not the winner crown,” sabi pa ni Thae.

Kasunod nito, sa isang press conference sa Bangkok sinabi naman ni Miss Grand International President Nawat Itsaragrisil na tinatanggap niya ang koronang isinoli ni Miss Grand Myanmar.

“What makes her so delusional?” pahayag ni Nawat. “If she wants first place and must have it, I suggest she creates her own pageant so she can win every title.”

Magpapatupad din umano ang MGI ng lifetime ban sa Myanmar dahil sa “lack of sportsmanship and business credibility.”
