Maureen Wroblewitz shares healing journey: ‘All the pain was worth it’

Filipino model and actress Maureen Wroblewitz shared her journey towards self-love in the past two years. The Asia’s Next Top Model winner admitted that it hasn’t been the easiest journey for her, but it was what she needed.

Maureen has been open to her followers about the healing journey she’s been on, even documenting it on her social media accounts.

My journey to choosing myself 🥰 (tiktok saw it first but i thought ig might appreciate it too) • it’s been 2 years since I made the decision. It was definitely not easy. I went through a very difficult transition, i had reached my lowest but I came out of it much stronger. All the pain was worth it,” she recalled.

She added that she used to disrespect herself back when she didn’t prioritize her needs as she didn’t see the importance of it. It was her good support system that helped her bounce back and see the bigger picture: loving herself before she can love others

“For the longest time all i knew was how to put other’s needs before mine. I didn’t prioritize my own because I didn’t see them as important. I completely disrespected myself,” she shared.

“I’m so glad that my momager and bf have taught me how to love myself, how to choose myself, how to be kind to myself, how to honor my inner child, how to practice gratitude, how to be positive and so much more,” she added

“I’m so grateful to have the support system I have now! I have the most amazing people in my life! My sisters who are literally my best friends, my family and friends, my supporters. Thank you for always being there for me,” she continued.

Fans of Maureen expressed their support in the comment section of her post. Other netizens were confused with her post, which prompted the supermodel to respond candidly.

“Just sharing my journey to self love. I was in a very unhealthy relationship with myself and decided to make a change and start prioritizing my needs. I’m so much happier now and personally I can see it in my face 💖 especially when i compare my current videos to my videos before my journey began,” she explained.

Prior to her boyfriend now, Maureen previously dated singer-actor JK Labajo for several years before calling it quits in 2022.
