It was a fun and nostalgic moment on ‘It’s Showtime’ as singer Yeng Constantino and comedian-host Ryan Bang shared the stage, stirring excitement among hosts and viewers.

During the live episode, Yeng playfully hinted at expecting an invitation to Ryan’s upcoming wedding to fiancée Paola Huyong, after he had once pursued her back in 2010.

The two first caught the audience’s attention when Yeng jested, “Madlang people, ako nag-iintay lang ako ng invitation, e,” alluding to her anticipated invite.

“Pupunta ka, punta ka sa kasal ko?” Ryan responded, as Yeng excitedly replied, “Pupunta ako. Gusto n’yo sa bahay n’yo puntahan ko kayong dalawa. Ang saya ko para sa’yo. Blooming ka, blooming.”

The reunion between Yeng and Ryan, who had candidly admitted in January 2022 to having once courted her, added a lighthearted vibe to the show, bringing back fond memories for fans of the ‘It’s Showtime’ family.

Yeng also performed her hit single Ikaw, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and Ryan showed his support, jokingly suggesting, “Kung gusto mo Korean version, i-translate ko na lang.” Yeng married her longtime love Yan Asuncion in 2015, while Ryan and Paola announced their engagement in June, marking a new chapter for both stars.
