Ai-Ai delas Alas: Kris Aquino not the reason why I left ABS-CBN
Comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas now only considers her “friendship” Kris Aquino as “a former friend and former roommate.”
This statement was made by Ai-Ai during the press conference organized for her by GMA following her contract signing with the network.
‘Gusto kong happy lang, Trabaho lang ‘to, so let’s all move on.’
But then Ai-Ai was quick to remind people that they had patched things up “’Yun na ‘yon, nagkabati na kami.”
However, Ai-Ai was honest enough to admit that they weren’t able to bring back their former closeness.
Does she still consider Kris as a friend? “A friend… hindi nasagot!” she answered laughing, then added, “Siguro ano na lang… a former friend and a former roommate.”
Meanwhile, Ai-Ai maintained that all is well between her dear friend and manager Boy Abunda despite the latter’s known closeness with the Queen of All Media.
“Hindi naman namin pinag-uusapan ‘yon. Ang pinag-uusapan lang namin, career ko and ‘yung friendship namin ni Ama… personal, hindi,” said Ai-Ai.
In fact, according to Ai-Ai, it was the King of Talk who facilitated her transfer to the other network.
Ai-Ai said.
If anything, Ai-Ai stressed that, even during her rift with Kris, Boy never chose any side nor did he leave her alone.
“And, of course, siyempre magpapasalamat ako sa Panginoon na hindi Niya ako pinapabayaan… never talaga.
Pagkatapos, wala akong naaagrabyado, I think lahat magiging positive,” she ended.
The veteran comedienne has been a Kapamilya for 16 years. Her last show was the television remake of Dyesebel starring Anne Curtis.
