Rico Yan’s nephew Alfy Yan is entering the entertainment scene, following in the footsteps of his late uncle. Viva Artists Agency shared the news on December 6, announcing they would be taking Alfy under their wing. It was met with an outpouring of support from fans and family, including Claudine Barretto, Rico’s former onscreen and offscreen partner.
“I am SO PROUD to Announce that another YAN will be part of this industry,” said Claudine on Instagram. “Like his Uncle Rico, Alfy will be changing & touching lives & will continue the YAN LEGACY. We are SO PROUD OF YOU ALFY!” The actress also addressed fans of their love team, presenting this exciting news as a Christmas gift for her and their supporters.

Named Alfonso Yan Tueres, he’s the son of Rico’s sister Geraldine Yan Tueres. Alfy is a certified Scorpio born on November 11, 2005.
He’s currently taking a management course in Ateneo
Looks and brains definitely run in the family. The 19 year old is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Ateneo de Manila University under the BS Management program.
