Kris Aquino allows Bimby to ‘reconcile’ with father James Yap
In the latest update of Queen of All Media Kris Aquino on Monday, June 19, she announced that her youngest child Bimby has returned to Manila and has reportedly been allowed to meet and reconcile with his father James Yap.
Although no name was mentioned, netizens believe that the actress-TV host was referring to Bimby’s relationship with his father, especially since the Father’s Day celebration had just ended.
This revelation came when Tetay seemed to “react” to her “special someone”, Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste, allegedly detailing their relationship in public without her consent. Kris said that she experienced being “fatherless” after Martial Law and she doesn’t want her son to experience the same.
Furthermore, Bimby is old enough to make decisions about his own life.
“On a happier note: no names shall be named BUT it will be easy for you to figure out… a lot has been through. a lot of misunderstandings but I don’t want it to be said that I stop bimb… my own childhood was fatherless because of Martial Law so why’d I subject my youngest to the same fate?”
“From the time Bimb was 8, he had the freedom to decide… now at 16 I told him- “When someone reaches out after 7 years, and there’s a chance for PEACE, then everyone WINS.'”
“Yesterday Father’s Day, my youngest made me proud – he’s had the number to contact for almost a week, and the reluctance was so real, yet he took the 1st step towards rebuilding a relationship that I know will require some time to repair BUT the important thing is that it has already started…” said Kris.
