A former inmate revealed the attitude that It’s Showtime Vhong Navarro showed to them inside the detention center.

Vhong was detained after the Taguig Regional Trial Court released a warrant of arrest against him regarding the rape case filed by model Deniece Cornejo in 2022. For a period of time, Vhong stayed in the detention center.

Eventually, he was allowed to post bail amounting to P1 million and had his temporary freedom. From this, Vhong continued his showbiz engagements.

In a recent interview that talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared on his YouTube channel, he featured TV actor and model Aeron Cruz who was detained after he was involved and arrested at a buy-bust operation.

Aeron shared that he was in the detention center when Vhong Navarro was also detained. He also said that the Kapamilya noontime show host helped a lot of detainees when he was there.

“Kaya napakabuti niya pong tao. Kagaya po ng matulungan niya ‘yong mabigyan niya ng pagkain kasi po walang dalaw,” Aeron shared.

He also said that Vhong would share everything that he had such as food and other essential items such as toiletries. Aeron mentioned that sometimes, Vhong would extend financial help to other inmates.
