Netizens weigh in as to why Kim Chiu is not allowed to promote her show in the noontime program.

Kapamilya actress-host Kim Chiu is starring in “Linlang”, the teleserye version, but why is she not allowed to promote this in It’s Showtime?To recall, ABS-CBN and Dreamscape produced “Linlang” which premiered on Prime Video last year. It received positive reviews and gained a huge success. Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu is playing the role of Juliana Lualhati, a character many viewers loved to hate.

It also marked Chiu’s first time in not doing her usual roles. She veered away from the wholesome characters she used to do in her previous projects. It became the most-watched TV show on Prime Video Philippines upon its debut in October 2023.

Maricel Soriano, Paulo Avelino, JM de Guzman, Kaila Estrada, Heaven Peralejo, and Ruby Ruiz are the other stars of that completed the cast ensemble of this show. Due to the huge success it got, a longer version in a teleserye was produced which will tackle the story in more careful details.

Hate is such a strong word but for the actress who is playing this role, she love to hear this from the viewers. She loves hearing the people hating her character in the suspense-thriller series.

She is grateful for the reactions of the people who even reached the point of calling her “the most hated” character in the show. Their hate is an indication that she is pulling off her role excellently. She is being effective doing the meaty role.

This series follows the story of deceit and betrayal in the tale of Victor, Juliana, and Alex.

However, just recently, in an episode in It’s Showtime, people noticed what she did when Tyang Amy Perez mentioned her series in their noontime show. Tyang Amy commended and congratulated her.

She was initially grateful but when Tyang went on talking about it, she went to her and said something off-mic. This was then followed by Tyang Amy saying, “Ay! Oo nga pala!”

Netizens noticed this and they immediately made assumptions. They start to wonder why she cannot promote her series in the noontime show if there’s already no network war.

Sa mga promotion ng show, understandable naman na bawal kasi nasa GTV sila, alangang ipromote nila show ng TV5.
