MANILA — In local hip-hop culture, it’s not complete without mentioning the names of Shanti Dope, Nik Makino, Skusta Clee, and Flow G.
The last-mentioned will always be relevant to those who understand the language he speaks through his songs.
Last July 21, the hip-hop star headlined his tour in Taiwan, attended by his huge supporters and “kababayans.” He also recently finished his shows in Davao City, Albay, and Laguna.
Next month, he will co-headline “Pinoy Rap Icons” in Edmonton, Canada with Gloc-9 and Skusta on September 14.
As one of the most celebrated young rap stars, the artist signed for a collaboration with Puregold, announcing a TikTok challenge #PanaloNaWalangHalo.
The TikTok challenge will have fans trying at a set of Flow G-themed hand choreo all month long, as winners will be selected every week until August 30.
To join the contest, fans must have a TikTok account and follow the brand’s account. Once that’s done, they must record their performance while using the Nasa Atin ang Panalo Hand Choreo filter on TikTok. Each participant must showcase their best hand moves and choreography in their video entries to accompany Flow G’s new song “Nasa Atin ang Panalo.”
According to Flow G, the online challenge will spur fans to express how their own experiences led them to believe in themselves, to take chances, and acknowledge the fact that all challenges can be overcome.
“We hope Flow G’s music will continue to be an inspiration to all,” said the brand’s senior marketing manager Ivy Hayagan-Piedad.
