Vice Ganda apologized for his absence on It’s Showtime

Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda has this emotional tweet regarding his absence on the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime.

Last week, Ogie Diaz, a close friend of Vice, hinted at the possible reason why Vice was not present in several episodes because it was said he felt “imbyerna” to other hosts. On the other hand, Vice said that he will return to the show.

When he returned to the show, he quipped that he needed to finish a lot of “labada.” Just recently, speculation surfaced that Vice and co-host Anne Curtis have an issue.

On October 22, the day of Miss Q and A grand finals, Vice Ganda was once again absent. Regarding this matter. Vice shared these tweets. “Sorry po wala pa rin ako sa Showtime. Kagabi pa ko umiiyak dahil di ako napayagan for a valid reason,” the Unkabogable Star said. However, he did not elaborate on the said reason.

He also shared that he did not agree with the suggestion to change the date of the grand finals because this event is not about him and it should not be made about him. “It’s about these beautiful girls and their talents. So for now let’s focus on them. Sorry po!” the comedian-host tweeted with a broken heart emoji.

In another tweet, Vice said that it really saddened him not to attend this special event. He said that the segment is very important to him and very close to his heart. “Aside from the fact na di ko masusuot yung mga pinagawa kong gowns para aliwin ko,” he added.

His fans showed support for him. They said that they understand him and that there is no need for him to apologize.

Previously, Vice Ganda liked a tweet from a netizen who said that before, he does not like the Unkabogable Star as a host. However, after Vice’s two-week absence, the netizen said that he realized why the comedian-host is too “madaldal.”
