James Yap introduced her Italian girlfriend to the public when they attended the birthday party of talent manager Arnold Vegafria in July 2013. Michela works as a secretariat specialist at the Asian Development Bank in the Philippines.

In May 2014, Kris Aquino opened up during an episode of her talk show that she likes Michela Cazzola because she takes good care of Bimby Aquino. She even revealed that she invited her to attend Bimby’s 7th birthday celebration, but Michela declined because she didn’t want to intrude.

Michela’s October 2016 birthday was a truly special one since Josh and Bimby Aquino were there to celebrate with her. Kris revealed that James’ girlfriend invited the two boys to be there in her very intimate birthday family dinner.

The Queen of All Media credits the cordial relationship between her and James Yap because of the genuine kindness of Michela Cazzola. In her Instagram post last December 23, Kris was impressed by Michela’s warmth towards her two boys. She even went on to say that “It’s possible to really move on enough to reach the point when you’re happy your ex husband is in a good place w/ a good woman whom you can consider a friend.”

But many wonder if Kris and Michela’s mutual respect and good relation will survive the recent showbiz intrigue. The Queen of All Media lashed out against James Yap after the latter posted a birthday message for their son Bimby last April 19, 2018. Kris even accused James of not being a father to their kid and ranted that the PBA cager did not defend Bimby from the bullying he received from TV broadcaster Jay Sonza before.

Michela even got dragged in the social media spat between Kris and James, after the celebrity TV host criticized the episode feature of James and Michela in the show of Korina Sanchez ‘Rated K.’

The girlfriend of James Yap even reacted to the post of a netizen that she should tell James to provide financial support to Bimby Aquino. Michela reminded the person not to interfere with personal matters involving her family.
