When it comes to being “unkabogable” (unbeatable), there is only one name that comes to mind and that is It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda. She has done everything, from acquiring the latest fashion items to traveling to the most beautiful places in the world.
She also loves her cars. Last week, Vice Ganda was seen hopping inside a top-of-the-line electric car from American automotive company Tesla, the Tesla Cybertruck.
As expected, it reached a lot of netizens after It’s Showtime production assistant, Gio Dexter Santos, uploaded a video on TikTok where they are saying their goodbyes to Vice and the host is seen going inside her futuristic pickup truck.
“May problema ba tayo? Di ba isa rin naman [akong] Hollywood star? Charot!” Vice Ganda humored onlookers.
(Is there any problem? Am I not also a Hollywood star? Kidding!)
True enough, the price and features of the Tesla Cybertruck are fit for Hollywood stars and millionaires who may need a shatterproof, electric, and futuristic-looking truck.
According to the official website of Tesla, there are two variants of Cybertruck that people can get: the All Wheel Drive and the Cyberbeast, which are priced at $99,990 (P5,698,880.06 based on current exchange rates) and $119,990 (P6,838,770.06) respectively.
However, according to reports, there are only a limited number of Cybertrucks in the Philippines, and each unit can reach up to P17 to 18 million depending on the dealership.
Although it is indeed pricey compared to other pickup trucks, its features such as its ultra-hard stainless-steel exoskeleton help to reduce dents, damage, and long-term corrosion making.
Tesla Cybertrucks are also shatter-resistant and ready to haul with their 2,500-pound payload and 11,000-pound towing capacity, which is the equivalent of an average African elephant. It also has interiors that are spacious headrooms, amazing infotainment system, and futuristic design.
But of course, the best feature of it all – and probably the most controversial – is its self-driving system which provides “ burden-free driving and Premium Connectivity, with access to apps and convenient features like internet browsing, streaming and live vehicle updates.”
