Actress-host Kris Aquino is, again, involved in a piece of fake news, and amid this, here’s an update about her condition.
Report of the TV personality’s death is fake news. Kris Aquino is alive and this has been confirmed by a person close to her. There are also no official news reports confirming the claim.
In a post, Kris is alive according to writer Dindo Balares, a close friend of hers.
She is still in the process of recovering and is currently in the Philippines. After staying in the USA to treat her autoimmune conditions, she finally came home and decided to continue the treatments here.
“Patuloy ang gamutan at pagpapalakas niya. Katunayan, food ang madalas na topic namin ngayon,” he shared.
Moreover, Balares shared that Kris has become “antukin” or sleepy and mostly spends her time sleeping. Her sense of taste is also improving but she is still having frequent body pain, her blood pressure and heartbeat are still monitored 24/7, and the medications continue.
What matters most to her now is that she is with her sons Josh and Bimby
Currently, she is confirmed to be diagnosed with six autoimmune conditions: autoimmune thyroiditis, chronic spontaneous urticaria, Churg-Strauss syndrome, systemic sclerosis, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis.
She’s struggling to improve her health and adding to this, she is also exerting extra effort to protect her vital organs. But on top of this, she refuses to give up on her health for her sons, family, and people who refused to stop supporting and praying for her improved health.
Last month, she teased about doing a project with Darla Sauler and Jasmin Ignacio Pallera. She previously worked with them on her now-defunct talk show ‘Kris TV’. This show ran from 2011 to 2016.
