Here’s what Joshua Garcia said about doing the PH adaptation of the famous series.
Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia is one of leads of “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” PH adaptation and here’s what he said about doing this.
The PH adaptation of “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay” is top-billed by ABS-CBN artists Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia, and Carlo Aquino. This marks the return of Anne after a decade-long hiatus from teleseryes. Her role is Emelia “Mia” Hernandez, the Filipina counterpart of Ko Moon Young, which is also her dream role as the actress herself is a fan of the series.
Garcia, on the other hand, is the Filipino version of Moon Gang Tae, Patrick “PatPat” Gonzales. They have already started shooting for the series and for the actor, this series highlights the beauty of Visayas.
They have shot scenes in Iloilo, Dumaguete, and Bacolod and new views are a breath of fresh air for him and he’s certain that this goes the same with the TV viewers. It’s refreshing to be out of places where they would usually shoot.
Working with superstar Anne Curtis and versatile actor Carlo Aquino has given him a new experience. However, on top of this, it’s been challenging to be working with them in an acting showdown.
“Ako tina-try kong sumabay talaga,” he quipped. He added how in awe he is of Anne’s dedication to this project.
Meanwhile, Garcia just renewed his contract with ABS-CBN. After a decade of being in the industry, he remained a Kapamilya. To recall, he rose to fame as a housemate in “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” in 2014 and his latest project was the box-office hit “Un/Happy For You” with ex-girlfriend Julia Barretto.
