Megastar Sharon Cuneta Reacts To “KathDen” Rumors

SHARON CUNETA – The Megastar spoke on the rumored romance between Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards who are both close to her.

Currently, there are rumors that something special is going on between Hello, Love, Goodbye stars Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards. The rumors were triggered by the recent frequent citing of the two (2) celebrities together in personal events.

Alden was one of those who were present in the birthday celebration of Kathryn as well as the house warming of her new home. When asked in an interview about the real score between them, the Kapuso star stressed that he wants to keep whatever they have private.

Kathryn and Alden first worked together in the hit 2019 film Hello, Love, Goodbye which was filmed in Hong Kong. It was the highest-grossing Philippine movie for several years until this January when Rewind had record-breaking profits.

Currently, Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo are taping the sequel of their hit movie Hello, Love, Goodbye. The much-awaited sequel is entitled Hello, Love, Again and it is set to be released this November.

Undeniably, countless people hope that “KathDen” will end up together in real life. Amid the rumors, what is the side of Megaster Sharon Cuneta who is close to both Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards?

Sharon has worked with both Alden and Kathryn in separate projects. She worked with the young actress in the 2018 film Three Words To Forever and with the Kapuso actor in the 2023 movie Family of Two.

Recently, during an interview on ABS-CBN on Cue, entertainment reporter MJ Felipe asked Sharon Cuneta if she believes that Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards have a relationship. According to the Megastar, she does not want to say “yes” but she will call Alden.

“Nahihiya akong magsabi ng, ‘Anak, kayo na ba?’ Pero nag-message ako sa kaniya, ‘Anak, kung totoo yan napakasaya ko,’” the Megastar said.

Sharon stressed that both Kathryn and Alden deserve everything they have received, the stardom, and their status. During the interview, she expressed that she is full support to the two celebrities in case they are a couple.

“Kung saan sila maligaya, lalo kung sa isa’t isa, talaga naman. Alam mo naman si Mama, kung kailangan, magpagawa ako ng tarpaulin,” the Megastar said.
