Less than a month after announcing their engagement, “Eat Bulaga” host Jose Manalo and his longtime partner, former EB Babe dancer Mergene Maranan, exchanged vows in a beautiful and intimate beach ceremony on December 17, 2024.
Close friends and family gathered to witness the couple’s special day, with glimpses of the event shared on social media by Ice Seguerra and Liza Diño-Seguerra.
Maranan looked stunning in a classic white wedding gown with delicate spaghetti straps, paired with pearl earrings and a low chignon hairstyle. Manalo complemented her elegance, wearing a dapper pink suit over a crisp white shirt, with a white bloom on his lapel.
Liza Diño-Seguerra shared photos on Instagram, referring to the comedian by his real name: “Ariel and Mergene. 12.17.2024.” Notably, Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto appeared to serve as one of the godfathers during the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Ice Seguerra posted a tender moment of the couple, showing Manalo dipping Maranan for a kiss as their guests joyfully captured the scene.
Earlier this month, Maranan shared her engagement to Manalo, revealing that he proposed to her at a resort dining hall in February 2024.
Manalo was previously married to Anna Lyn Santos, who passed away in 2022. The late couple shared four children, including actor Benj Manalo.
