Vice Ganda teased Kim Chiu about becoming a searcher for the It’s Showtime segment “EXpecially For You.”
In an episode of the noontime show on Friday, March 1, Vice quipped: “‘Pag lagi [si Kim] absent tine-text niya ako: ‘Ma pasensya ka na, wala na naman ako bukas. Pero huwag kang magalala magge-guest ako sa ‘EXpecially For You.'”
Kim couldn’t help but laugh about Vice’s remark.
Vice added that he will not stage a production number for his birthday episode to make way for a whole episode of Kim’s “EXpecially For You” segment.
“Sa birthday ko hindi ako magpro-prod ‘pag ikaw ‘yung guest. Whole day episode, ‘yun lang. Joke lang,” she said.
Kim then responded, “Sino kaya dito?” pertaining to the supposed searchees for her episode.
Vice replied: “Hahanap kami ng mga pasabog na ganyan, mga anak ng mga business tycoons, mga ganyan. Siyempre achiever din, may ipagmamalaki. Hindi pwedeng basta-basta kay Kim Chiu, noh? Kim Chiu is such a powerful woman.”
The “EXpecially For You” is a segment which first aired in December. A guest player or searcher embarks on a quest to find new love. Adding an exciting twist to the segment, the player’s ex joins the segment to assist their former partner in selecting a new romantic prospect from among the searchees.
Fans online were quick to express their excitement about the idea of Kim guesting in the segment.
“Go! Ang saya nito pag nagkataon,” one fan said.
“Go kimmy join just for fun lang sobrang saya yan,” another fan wrote.
In a press conference for Linlang last January, Kim was asked if she was ready to fall in love again.
Kim responded: “Oo naman. ‘Di man sa ngayon muna, pero hopefully in the next months to come. Kasi ang love naman, marami namang kayang magbigay ng love.”
The actress added: “And willing naman ako tumanggap. Basta, kasali sa buhay ‘yun, i-embrace nating lahat.”
