Pia Wurtzbach to walk in Paris Fashion Week show alongside Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne

Pia Wurtzbach will be the first Filipina to walk in L’Oreal’s Paris Fashion Week runway show dubbed “Le Défilé ‘Walk Your Worth.'”

The Miss Universe 2015 is set to represent the Philippines in the upcoming show on Monday, 8:30 p.m. (Tuesday, 2:30 a.m. Manila time) in Place de l’Opéra in Paris, France.

Pia will walk alongside other L’Oreal Paris faces, including Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne.

Le Défilé “Walk Your Worth” is L’Oreal Paris’s annual celebration of empowerment and diversity, featuring the sisterhood of the ambassadors walking the runway to carry the message of self-worth and beauty.

In June, Pia was named a Bulgari Friend of the House.

In May, she was named Global Fashion Influencer of The Year by EMIGALA Awards.

The recognition came at the heels of Pia being named by two data agencies, Lefty and Launchmetrics, as among the celebrities who generated the highest media values in Milan Fashion Week.

You can watch “Le Défilé ‘Walk Your Worth'” on L’Oreal Paris’s Facebook, YouTube, or Instagram page on Tuesday at 2:30 a.m.

According to L’Oreal’s website, the annual show at Paris Fashion Week aims to showcase “extraordinary femininity and exquisite looks” and “champion the democratization of fashion and beauty.” It features the brand’s ambassadors, fashion designers, and beauty experts from around the world.

International celebrities like Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, Viola Davis, Eva Longorio, Camila Cabello, Jane Fonda, and Simone Ashley were also part of the show.

Wurtzbach, who was tapped to be one of the ambassadors of L’Oreal, was also the face of the brand’s “Sayang? No, #ImWorthIt” campaign in March 2024.

Prior to the runway show, the beauty queen took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes photos from the event. “It’s the calm before the storm. But I’m ready,” she wrote.

Wurtzbach made her fashion week debut just a year ago, wherein she even became one of the top-ranked international guests during Milan Fashion Week 2023. According to reports, Pia garnered a total of $3.4 million (or around P192 million) in media impact value. She placed second to K-pop boy group’s ENHYPEN. – Rappler.com
