Kris Aquino ‘gaining strength,’ says close friend

Actress Kris Aquino is “gaining strength” but she is still asking for continued prayers for her ongoing illness.

This is the beginning of Kris Aquino’s former entertainment editor and close friend Dindo Balares’ Instagram account.

Along with two photos of Kris, Dindo gave an update on Kris’ illness.

“Allergens still in my body,” Kris said according to Dindo. Dindo said that Kris was glowing, and the Queen of All Media replied, “I just don’t have wrinkles, Kuya Dindo.”

Kris also told Dindo how she lost her balance in the bathroom, luckily her youngest son Bimby was there.

Kris’ message, “Kuya Dindo, I lost my balance in the bathroom – my elbow and knee hit. My left knee suddenly weakened so I hit the marble wall.”

“Praise God when I shouted Bimb, he jumped from the bed and he beat the action stars because he was less than 5 seconds from when I shouted he was there – he prevented my head slamming into the marble wall. Bimb is my hero.

“My (latest) blood test results are ugly. More prayers.”

Kris returned to the Philippines in 2024 for her second round of immunosuppressant treatment.
