Heart Evangelista Faints at Fashion Show Over Lust for Luxury Goods

Kapuso star and celebrity Heart Evangelista shared her memories of when she focused on her work and worked hard to achieve the material things she desired.

In the latest episode of her Heart World vlog that aired on Saturday, January 18, Heart admitted that she once fainted during a Fashion Week she attended because she was too tired and trying to enjoy things related to her career.

According to Heart, “I almost fainted during Fashion Week because I knew my health was seriously deteriorating just to get the handbag, just to get the coat.”

He revealed that despite having material things like branded handbags and coats that he uses at work, he realized that this is not a reason to sacrifice too much just to get them.

Heart explains, “These are the nonsense things I use in my work, but I won’t use them as an excuse anymore.”

He says he’s learned to be more responsible with the things he buys and he doesn’t value them as much as he used to.

In preparation for his 40th birthday next February, Heart has set a new goal. Instead of setting goals for the new year, he decided to continue changing his perspective on life.

“I know what it feels like to work, I really work hard because I love it, I’m lucky, privileged to not be the breadwinner,” he shares in his vlog.

Heart is proud that although she is lucky and not the main breadwinner of her family, she still understands the value of working hard and saving to achieve the things she wants.

Heart added, “But that means everything I have, everything I wear, I have to work hard to get, I really worked hard, I really pushed myself to buy everything I have.”

With these words, he explained that he could not have achieved what he has today without going through many challenges and hardships. What he has today was not achieved easily but through his determination and hard work.

But as time passed and Heart entered a new phase of her life, she began to feel the effects of years of fatigue.

He said, “It was really different from what I used to experience, even during Fashion Week.”

He said that as he got older, the things he used to do easily became more difficult for him. Previous experiences that included the glitz and excitement of big events no longer appealed to him.

“I will definitely reconsider, I will tighten my belt when it comes to spending money,” Heart said.
