Ogie Diaz Hints At Three Dismissed Cases

Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz hinted at three dismissed cases in the latest episode of his Showbiz Update vlog.

Ogie’s YouTube talk show with co-hosts Mama Loi, Tita Jegs, Dyosa Pockoh, and Mrena has been discussing different controversial issues in the Philippine entertainment industry.

Sometimes, they would do blind items, clarify certain issues, and give updates on the latest showbiz news and rumors. Ogie was even tagged as the “Patron Saint ng mga Hiwalayan” for confirming celebrity breakups.

Avid viewers of their YouTube show love the humor that they also bring. However, some netizens would also criticize them, especially the fans of certain celebrities they talk about on their show.

One negative thing that happened to Ogie Diaz and his co-hosts because of their show was when they received complaints. To recall, actress Bea Alonzo filed cyber libel complaints against Ogie, Mama Loi, and Mrena.

Last June, Ogie and Mama Loi, filed their counter affidavit. Then, Mama Loi filed a perjury case against Bea. Despite the complaints filed by the actress, Ogie and his co-hosts continued reporting about her. The talent manager-vlogger said that it was “trabaho lang.”

In a recent episode of Showbiz Update, Ogie shared documents showing that there was a warrant of arrest against an actor. He did not mention the name of the actor but he said that this actor has been staying in a country in Asia for quite some time and apparently it is because of the syndicated estafa complaint.

Mama Loi said, “Huh? Di ba dismissed na, bakit may warrant of arrest?” Then, Ogie answered, “Oo, tatlong cases na sa atin ang dismissed, Loi.” Mama Loi laughed and Ogie covered his mouth while laughing also. The talent manager-vlogger said that at least, this is positive.

However, Ogie Diaz did not mention what cases were these and who filed them.
