Xian Lim’s mother thanks Kim Chiu for making him happy

21 Apr – While some people find it hard to get along with their mother-in-law, Kim Chiu has already won Xian Lim’s mother Mary Anne’s heart before even marrying her son.

On 19 April, the Lim matriarch posted a photo of her with her son and the Kapamilya actress to wish Chiu a happy 31st birthday, writing, “Dearest Kim, Happy Birthday! Thank you for coming into Xian’s life. As a mother, I want the best for my only child, and you give him happiness and love.”

“Seeing him happy is more than what a mother could ask for,” she added.

Prior to Mary Anne, Xian Lim took to social media to wish the actress a happy birthday, dedicating a long post that read, “I just want to say that I’m the luckiest man in the world to always have you by my side. The first date we had, you told me that you’re worried that what we have might not last because of this crazy world we live in. Naysayers had their own versions of what they think we have. So many doubts, so many people trying keep us apart. Years later, we are still here for each other, loving each other like there is no tomorrow.”
