Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda shares why he’s thankful to what his ex-partner did before confessing the infidelity in the past.

Old relationships can affect us way after they have ended. It may be hard to let go of someone you’ve built a future with but there’s nothing that time cannot heal. The end of a relationship indicates the start of another one and as for Kapamilya superstar Vice Ganda, he is thankful for a love that ended as it led him to a love that will last.

In a recent episode in It’s Showtime, during the “EXpecially For You” segment, the superstar comedian thanked an ex-lover of him who cheated on him in the past.

He meant nothing wrong in his statement but he just thanked him for doing it as led him to a better person. This person is Ion Perez, someone who is proud of their relationship even before. The first person who is proud of him as his partner.

In the show, he shared the story of how things transpired. This happened at the time when he was still working abroad. He was a performer in Guam and stayed there for six months. He decided not to extend his stay as he really missed his “jowa” at that time.

He returned to the Philippines with a happy and this “jowa” even fetch him from the airport. They went straight to a mall and he bought his “jowa” a Playstation. After these things he did and bought, he confessed to him that he cheated and got another girl pregnant.

“Nagpabili pa siya ng Playstation. Kinuha niya pa lahat. ‘Yong pasalubong ko, lahat kinuha niya. Pero no’ng gabi, nakabuntis siya. Sinabi niyang ’Mayro’n akong girlfriend, tapos buntis siya’. Hindi naman sa pag-aano. Oo pinasalubungan kita pero kung ikaw kukunin mo pa ba ‘yun?” he shared.

It was painful but that experience accordingly prepared him to be the person that he is now. The comedian even quipped, “Thank you for fooling me and leaving me because that led me to my Ion now.”
