Arjo Atayde was asked about this undying rumor about Maine Mendoza
Actor-turned-politician Arjo Atayde reacted to the rumor that his wife Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza already has a child with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards.
Arjo and Maine tied the knot last year. They had been together for more than three years before they decided to settle down. Even though their relationship has been known publicly, there were still people who believe another story.
For the longest time, fans of Maine and Alden, who were known as the AlDub loveteam, believed that they were married and had their own child.

Several times, both Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards clarified this issue. They stressed that they are not married and that they don’t have a child.
In a recent interview on talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz’s YouTube channel, Arjo Atayde was asked about these rumors involving Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards as some AlDub fans are still believing this story.
The actor-politician said that these fans are not getting tired of this. On the other hand, Arjo said that he appreciates the love that these fans have for Maine, the way they admire the Phenomenal Star and the loveteam.

He is also aware that he will get bashed for being the husband of Maine but he is not bothered by this because this is not true. Arjo opted to move on from this and be positive.
The actor-politician also stressed that there is nothing wrong with that he loves Maine. He understands that there was a loveteam but there was no relationship.
Arjo Atayde also said that he does not understand the logic but he understands where these fans were coming from. However, he said that he hoped these fans would also understand that Maine Mendoza is his wife. “Wala siyang anak, wala rin akong anak,” he added.
