Boy Abunda was asked if he would interview Carlos Yulo
King of Talk Boy Abunda shared his thoughts on the issue between two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo and his parents.
Carlos has done many interviews after his victory at the Paris Olympics. He became in-demand in TV shows and online interviews. Aside from his Olympic journey, people are also interested in what happened between him and his parents, especially his mom Angelica Yulo.
In a recent interview shared on Cinema Bravo’s YouTube channel, Tito Boy was asked about this issue and if he was willing to interview the people involved.

The King of Talk said that it is not easy to say something about this issue because the pieces of information that are available are the ones that are presented to the public. Boy Abunda stressed that there is definitely a lot more than what is seen by the people at the surface.
He also said that some might say that he is not interested in interviewing Carlos Yulo because he is known as “maka-Nanay.” Tito Boy said that this is not it but he is not apologizing that he is indeed very close to his mother. However, he pointed out that, not all the time, mothers are the right ones.
The veteran talk show host also said with the issue that happened between Carlos and Angelica, things have been very complicated as it led to more issues. “Hangga’t maaari, huwag na muna tayong dumagdag sa ingay,” Tito Boy said.

He also shared his views on why people were so invested in Carlos and Angelica’s conflict. For the veteran host, it is because the elements in the mother-and-son conflict are the ones that Filipinos see in teleseryes.
Boy Abunda said that he wants to do an interview with the Yulos and even Chloe San Jose, Carlos Yulo’s girlfriend, when all the tempers are down.
