Some netizens commented that the movie’s income will definitely be higher because it has only been showing for two days and has already earned 41 million.

However, another netizen commented that the movie’s income increased because the Marcoses bought the tickets and gave them to people. He added that he saw a woman at the cinema giving away money in exchange for watching Maid in Malacanang.

Meanwhile, despite Maid in Malacanang’s huge profits, many are still criticizing it and saying that the Marcoses are only deceiving the public and that the Marcoses are committing a historical distortion.
