It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu is now facing complaints before the Movie Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) over the remarks she made during one of the segments of the show.

Kim drew the attention of netizens when said the word “vibrator” in describing the voice of a ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ contestant.

“Ang ganda ng vibrator ng boses mo,” Kim said.

Fans of Kim quickly came to the defense of the host and said that Kim was referring to the quality of the voice of the contestant.
The MTRCB is also set to announce its decision over the cake icing incident between Vice Ganda and Ion Perez.

The board is also deliberating on the issue of Wally Bayola’s cursing on live television on E.A.T.

MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu reacted to the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) denying the motion for reconsideration on the suspension of noontime variety show “It’s Showtime.”

During her Life Strong Hairfix Professional event in SM The Block yesterday, Kim said they will remain strong despite the denial.

“We can handle all the problems. Especially ‘Showtime.’ It’s been 13 years on the noontime show. There is no problem that cannot be handled,” she said.

“We are all the test of time. All of us are tested by time and we learn something and look forward to it,” she added.

Kim said the whole “It’s Showtime” family is grateful for their fans’ support.

“We’re just very grateful that there are so many people supporting ‘Its Showtime’ and agreeing is important,” she said.

In a statement released last September 28, the MTRCB affirmed its August 17 decision to suspend “It’s Showtime!” for 12 airing days following complaints of an alleged indecent incident during the show’s “Isip Bata” segment last July 25.

In the July 25 episode, host-comedian Vice Ganda licked icing off the fingers of co-host and real-life partner Ion Perez. MTRCB also cited the show’s past preventive suspensions in dishing out its latest decision.
