Sen. Padilla, PDP-Laban ‘di matatanggap na makasuhan si FPRRD
Tahasang tinawag na kasinungalingan ni Sen. Robin Padilla ang naging rekomendasyon daw ng House Quad Committee laban kina dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, Senador Bong Go at Senador Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.
Sa ambush interview ng media kay Padilla, muli niyang iginiit ang naging pahayag daw ng PDP-Laban, na partido na kanilang kinabibilangan sa ilalim ng liderato ni FPRRD.
“Kung mababasa niyo po yung aming statement, naglabas kami ng statement kaninang umaga, sinasabi po don ng aming pamunuan na hindi po kami sang-ayon sa ginawa ng quad comm, pero syempre ako po, bilang isang mambabatas din, eh kung ano po yung gusto nilang hakbangin, edi gawin po nila,” ani Padilla.
Matatandaang nangunguna sa listahan ng mga personalidad na inirerekomenda ng quad comm na makasuhan ng “crimes against humanity” sina dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, Senador Bong Go, at Senador Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, kaugnay pa rin sa isyu ng war on drugs sa panahon ng administrasyon ng una, na nagsimula noong 2016.
Dagdag pa ng senador: “Pero kami po dito sa PDP, sinasabi po namin na isa itong malaking kasinungalingan. Hindi namin matatanggap na ang aming chairman, na si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte ay ma-i-involve sa ganitong kaso na sinasabi nila , na kasama pa si Sen. Bato at Sen. Go.”
Samantala, wala pang inilalabas na pahayag sina Sen. Dela Rosa at Sen. Go, maging ang dating Pangulo, hinggil sa posibleng kasong kanilang tuluyang harapin.
