For the first time, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes visit It’s Showtime.

Kapuso real-life couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera are in It’s Showtime and people online are looking for Karylle.

For the promotion of their MMFF 2023 film “Rewind”, real-life couple and Kapuso stars, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes visit It’s Showtime. It was their first time to grace the noontime show and many were elated to see them finally visiting the Kapamilya program.

They were warmly welcomed by the hosts and the madlang people.

The real-life couple was finally able to make the Showptime trademark greeting “What’s Up, Madlang People”. However, despite the good vibes and breath of fresh air they brought to the show, some people still asked where is Karylle.

As much as we all know, Karylle is one of the mainstay hosts of the Kapamilya noontime show and she has quite a controversial history with the Kapuso couple.

To recall, in 2008, Dantes and Karylle broke up and the reason behind the split was unclear. As per Karylle’s statement before, “there were many reasons that can’t be summed up in just one statement”.

The breakup was painful but it was a mutual decision after a long process.

In an interview with Ricky Lo in 2008, this is her answer when asked if Dingdong was faithful:

“Basta ang masasabi ko lang diyan…I asked him and he said…teka, ano ba ang sinabi niya? He said he never cheated on me and I trusted him.”

She trusted him when he said that he did not cheat and when he said that there was no third party involved. And when she was asked if Marian is involved in the breakup, her response was:

“Ewan ko! I don’t know. Isang tao lang naman ang dapat kong tanungin at ‘yon ang sagot niya. So, ‘yon lang ‘yon. ‘Yung iba pang alam ko, sa ibang tao ko na nalaman.”

Meanwhile, 15 years later, Karylle is happily married to Yael Yuzon while Marian and Dindgong ended up in real life and they now have two kids.
