In a recent interview, Xian Lim opened up about his recent break-up with Kim Chiu and the challenges and rumors he has faced. Xian candidly addressed the issues, saying, “I’m not a bullshitter and this is probably why I’m getting plenty of intrigues as well because I live truthfully.”

Xian spoke on his 12-year relationship with Kim Chiu, noting the positive nature of their time together.

“It was a wonderful 12 years, it wasn’t a toxic relationship… So when it happened, we assured each other that we would be (OK). We are on good terms. And we’re gonna be happy for each other,” he said.

Addressing the emotional impact, Xian acknowledged the pain felt by their supporters but stressed the natural course of life.

“I know it’s painful especially for the people who supported us for 12 years pero hindi naman namin ito ginusto. Kaya nga siya tumagal ng 12 years is because we worked on the relationship. Pinagtatanggol namin ang isa’t isa, we were there for each other, wala pong pagkukulang,” he added.

Post-breakup, Xian has chosen to immerse himself in work, recently completing a movie he wrote and directed, which was shot in Thailand.

“Of course, no ill feelings. I’m just really focused on work, I’m really just focused on my craft. I want to be as creative as possible,” Xian shared.

Xian stressed his dedication to transparency and his desire to be remembered for his work rather than the breakup.

“Yun lang po yung pinanghahawakan ko, the truth, these are the things that happened… I don’t wanna be defined or maalala ako ng mga tao dahil lang dito sa breakup… I wanna be remembered for the projects that I do and for living truthfully,” he concluded.

Despite the challenges, Lim remains focused on his career and committed to moving forward positively.
