Kris Aquino to sue Doc Willie Ong; doctor, calm down
A report is currently making the rounds that even though she is receiving treatment abroad, Queen of All Media Kris Aquino is reportedly preparing legal action against celebrity doctor and vice presidential candidate Doc Willie Ong, allegedly for using Kris’s image and situation without permission in a misleading advertisement.
According to a report by Bilyonaryo, Kris’ camp has reportedly contacted Divina Law Office to contact Willie and Liza Ong to remove her image from the mixed nuts that the two are allegedly endorsing. The said legal action is said to be based on “intellectual property rights for her personal brand.”
Kris reportedly did not like the use of her photo and health condition as an endorsement for a mixed up product that is said to prevent serious illnesses.
Ong got the news and immediately commented in the comment section of Bilyonaryo. He said, even though he is also a victim of such fake ads, Kris’ camp should not chase him. I am not endorsing any product except for one which is Birch Tree Advance, which is a charity advocacy for seniors. All the rest including Mixed Nuts are fake. I am not the endorser or the owner of these fake FB pages using my name. The fake ads issue is a worldwide problem of influencers. I, and many other influencers are the victims here. My official page has a Blue Verified check mark named Doc Willie Ong with 17 million followers. All FB pages with only a few followers using my name are fake pages. I have no control over what fake pictures they post. I have reported this to FB for the past 5 years with little success since the scammers just keep making new FB accounts. This is a problem of many influencers. I hope you can clarify this and not harm my reputation.”

In another comment, “These are all obviously fake ads and scammer pages. And Ms. Kris and her lawyers were misled by these fake ads which are not mine. I do not own nor endorse these products. Please be careful.”
“Beware of Fake Ads. Reminder from Doc Willie Ong. Be careful of Impostor FB pages using my name and Doc Liza. I only really support one product, which is the Birch Tree Advance for Seniors. What you see is not real. Many influencers and celebrities are victims of their creation of fake FB pages. My Official FB page is ‘Doc Willie Ong’ with a Blue Verified check and 17 million followers. God bless and always be careful. – Doc Willie Ong,” he said.

The famous doctor-social media personality Dr. Kilimanguru also responded.
“If it’s not posted from the official and verified page of the creator then it’s not true! That’s why we have the BLUE CHECK MARK next to our profile name because that is what distinguishes us from fake pages,” he said.

Meanwhile, Kris’ camp has yet to respond or make a statement regarding this.
