Jennylyn Mercado is happy about Dennis Trillo’s recent achievement

Kapuso Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado had this heartfelt message to her husband Kapuso drama king Dennis Trillo after he won the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 Best Actor award.

Dennis has been receiving praise since the trailer of his MMFF movie Green Bones was released. When the movie premiered and officially released in cinemas on December 25, more positive reactions were given to the movie and the cast.

During the Gabi Ng Parangal, Green Bones was also among the MMFF entries that received many awards. One of them was the Best Actor award given to Dennis.

After the awarding, many netizens and moviegoers shared their thoughts on the recognition given to Dennis Trillo. Many said that the Kapuso actor deserved the award and it was really evident in his performance in the movie.

Previously, Dennis shared that he had to lose weight for his character Domingo Zamora to make it appear realistic as his role was a prisoner. He also had to learn to do the sign language.

Many fans and  celebrities congratulated Dennis for this new Best Actor award. He has been recognized for his versatility in his previous projects.

His wife also gushed over his new achievement. Jennylyn Mercado shared some photos on her Instagram page taken during the awards night. In the caption of her post, she expressed how proud she is of her husband.

The Kapuso Ultimate Star also said that she will always be the number one fajn of Dennis Trillo. “Congratulations, mahal ko! @dennistrillo [clapping hands emoji] I’m so proud of you! [raising hands emoji] You are really phenomenal and I will forever be your biggest fan. [hundred points emoji] I love you, our Best Actor! [face blowing a kiss, red heart emoji],” Jennylyn Mercado wrote. Friends and fans of the couple also congratulated the MMFF 2024 Best Actor.
