Gabbi Garcia reunites with 'Encantadia's' first Alena, Karylle on 'It's Showtime'

Two Alenas in one frame!

Gabbi Garcia and Karylle, the two actresses who played Alena in “Encantadia” in 2016 and 2005, respectively, reunited on “It’s Showtime” debut on GMA on Saturday.

On Instagram, the Kapuso It Girl posed beside the “It’s Showtime” host during the noontime show’s first showing on the Kapuso channel.

“Alena’s,” Gabbi wrote in the caption. “Missed you, ate.”

In the comments, Karylle said she took a chance to share a room and makeup artist with Gabbi just so they could have an Alena moment together.

Kaylle also thanked Gabbi for “being so chill” and “for coming super early” just to adjust to her schedule. She also thanked their makeup artist Jason Delos Reyes for being the “bridge” to their bonding session.

To this, Gabbi responded to Karylle and said she’s “always happy to see” her.

“One of the purest hearts ever!” Gabbi said.

“Thank you also for the dressing room and all the genuine chika!” she added. “I really appreciate it.”

In an earlier report, Karylle said she is looking forward to passing the brilyante to the new generation of Sang’gres.

“It’s Showtime” made an epic debut on GMA Network on Saturday. The noontime show is also aired on GMA Network’s GTV.
