Kapuso’s noontime program, ‘Lunchtime Movie Hits’ (LMH), maintains its dominant streak in the ratings race, outperforming rival variety shows like ‘It’s Showtime’ and ‘EAT…Bulaga.’
According to the latest ratings report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, LMH secured its latest victory in the noontime slot with another KathNiel movie, ‘Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay.’
On Tuesday, March 19, LMH secured a rating of 5.0 percent, claiming the 13th spot in the overall ratings chart. ‘EAT…Bulaga’ followed closely behind at the 14th position with a rating of 3.8 percent. ‘It’s Showtime,’ on the other hand, ranked 15th overall with a score of 3.4 percent.
This marks the second time LMH has emerged victorious in the ratings battle with a KathNiel movie. On Saturday, March 9, ‘The Hows of Us’ propelled LMH to the top spot with a rating of 4.4 percent, surpassing ‘EAT…Bulaga’s’ 4.3 percent and ‘It’s Showtime’s’ 3.8 percent.
Furthermore, LMH’s latest triumph on Tuesday signifies its third consecutive win since Saturday, March 16. Featuring the film ‘That Boy In The Dark,’ LMH garnered a rating of 4.8 percent, outpacing ‘EAT…Bulaga’s’ 3.7 percent and ‘It’s Showtime’s’ 3.6 percent.
Given GMA Network’s wider reach compared to TV5, GTV, and A2Z, it’s not unexpected for its noontime program to occasionally secure ratings victories, especially with popular movie features.
