Hindi napigilang maging sentro ng biruan si Kim Chiu sa It’s Showtime ngayong tanghali ng Biyernes, May 3, 2024.
Ito ay matapos ang pag-amin ni Xian Lim, ex-boyfriend ni Kim, na girlfriend na nga nito ang film producer na si Iris Lee.
Sa opening spiels ng noontime show ngayong araw, winelcome ng mga host na sina Kim, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, at Jhong Hilario ang “TNT Kids Season 2” grand winner na si Kim Hewitt na muling bumalik at nagtanghal sa programa.
Sabi ni Anne, “We love all the Kims and we love you Kimmy.”
Niyakap ni Anne si Kim matapos nito.
Hirit naman ni Vhong, “Gusto mo bang magsampol, Kim?”
Dagdag ni Anne, “Anong gusto mong kantahin?”
Makulit na biro ni Jhong, “Gusto mo interbiyuhin ka na lang namin?”
Sagot ni Kim, “Hindi. Huwag ganun, hindi masakit.”
Hindi na rin nila pinilit pang maungkat ang isyu kay Kim at sa ex-boyfriend nitong si Xian.

Matatandaang kahapon, May 2, 2024, kinumpirma ni Xian na may relasyon nga sila ni Iris sa eksklusibong panayam niya sa Esquire Philippines.
Inusisa ng online magazine si Xian kung may katotohanan ba ang mga naglalabasang espekulasyon na may relasyong namamagitan sa kanila ni Iris.
Diretsong sagot niya: “Yes, I’m seeing Iris.
“Just to clear everything, to clear all the speculations.
“We are seeing each other and we are very happy.”
Sabi ni Xian sa Esquire Philippines, nagdesisyon siyang magsalita, halos limang buwan matapos ang kontrobersiyal na announcement ng breakup nila ni Kim.
Ito raw ay upang bigyan-linaw ang mga haka-haka sa dahilan ng paghihiwalay nila ng dating nobya na wala naman daw katotohanan.
Kabilang na rito ang pagkakasangkot ni Iris, na siyang itinuturong third party umano sa breakup ng KimXi, ang moniker ng love team nina Kim at Xian.

December 23, 2023, kinumpirma nina Kim at Xian sa publiko na nagtapos na ang labindalawang taon nilang pagmamahalan.
Walang binanggit na dahilan ang dalawa, ngunit “mutual decision” daw ang kanilang paghihiwalay.

“And there’s also this one absurd article, or a thing said about me, that I have been living with someone for years na daw.
“The only people I live with is my mom, my lola, my lolo. These are the things na, parang, it’s just so absurd and it’s just… why?!
“Things happen in life that we’re not going to be able to control. And as much as we don’t want it to happen, life happens.
“And it just pains me na parang may mga taong nadamay. That just really saddens me and that’s very unfortunate.”
Dagdag pa niya, “Ang busy-busy ni Iris, ang busy-busy ko. She has a lot on her plate, and I have a lot on my plate.
“And, you know, she doesn’t deserve all that flak. We don’t deserve that because all the things na people are saying, there’s no truth to any of it.”
