Tirso Cruz III commemorates 5th death anniversary of eldest son TJ
Tirso Cruz III is commemorating the 5th death anniversary of his eldest son TJ.
“It has been 5 years since you’ve been gone but I still see you coming into our room in the morning as you say goodbye before going to work like before,” the veteran actor wrote on Instagram.
Posting a photo of his son, Tirso said “your memory will always be in my heart and mind.”
“We love and miss you TJ,” he added.
TJ is Tirso and Lynn’s eldest son. He died five years ago after a six-month battle with cancer. He only 37.

They cremated him four days later, but not without celebrating his short but wonderful life. On the final day of his wake, Tirso led a flash mob-style of dancing in honor of TJ. His wife, Lynn had been a vision of grace and gratitude amid the loss of her firstborn son.
Since then, Tirso would occasionally take to Instagram to write similar notes to TJ. It’s become an exercise the actor has religiously kept on for five years counting.
