Coco Martin debunked the attitude problem accusation against Ivana Alawi

Batang Quiapo actor-director Coco Martin attested that actress Ivana Alawi is a good person contradicting the rumors that the reason for her exit from the series was because of her attitude problem.

When news surfaced that Ivana’s stint in the Kapamilya primetime action-drama series would end, rumors surfaced that it was because she allegedly displayed undesirable traits towards others.

However, Ivana debunked this issue. She said that her natural face could have been the reason why people may have thought that she was not a friendly person.

Ivana Alawi’s character Bubbles officially bid goodbye and this episode broke the previous records of the Kapamilya series.

In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Coco Martin said that they are saddened by Bubbles’s departure from the series. He also stressed Ivana is a kind person.

“Malungkot, kasi ano eh, siyempre, tagal din namin nakasama si Ivana. Almost one year. Kumbaga, parang pamilya na ‘yung turing namin sa kanya tapos napakabait niya eh,” Coco said about Ivana.

He also shared that they did not notice that Ivana’s character would make a beautiful story and her journey continued longer than what they had expected. However, since Ivana had a lot of other commitments, they had to let go of her character in the series.

Coco Martin said that the actress-vlogger still has a lot of shows to do, aside from her regular vlogs. Because of this, Ivana Alawi had to bid goodbye and the actor-director can do nothing about this anymore.

He also shared that during Ivana’s last taping day, he really avoided talking about the impending end of her character. The actor-director said that he understands Ivana’s decision to leave the series because of her other commitments. He added that they are already used to this kind of situation because, since Ang Probinsyano, they already experienced this.
