‘Taga-Bamban ka?’ Vice Ganda jokingly mistakes Kim Chiu for someone else

Taking her cue from the headline-making hearing at the Senate, Vice Ganda jokingly mistook her “It’s Showtime” co-host Kim Chiu for a fugitive ex-mayor, as seen in the noontime program’s August 30 episode.

The comedy superstar also “interrogated” Chiu, who is part-Chinese, on her residence and means of transport, in reference to the controversial escape of dismissed Bamban mayor Alice Guo.

The It’s Showtime family has indeed never failed to bring laughter and good vibes to the madlang people every noontime from Monday to Saturday. And the same goes off-cam as what we’ve seen in the vlogs and social media posts of the hosts.

Just like in the latest vlog of Vice Ganda, wherein he tapped co-host Kim Chiu to play the fun and exciting “Briefs or Boxers Challenge” during one of their commercial breaks. In this game, they had to guess whether their male co-hosts were wearing boxers or briefs, and even have to tell what the color was.

To make it extra fun, they made a bet in each host they asked. They had to pay the winner Php 1000 for every correct answer and an extra Php 1000 if they’re able to guess the color right.

The first one they’re able to ask was Jugs Jugueta, who was wearing a black boxers then. It was Kim who was able to guess it correctly, except that she said that it was sky blue. Thus, she received Php 1000.

Jugs then joined them in the second round, wherein the Unkabogable Star was able to guess that his anak-anakan Ryan Bang was donning orange and black briefs. So, the Chinita Princess handed him Php 2000. Jugs, on the other hand, told Vice to just take note of his bet since he didn’t have any cash in hand that time.

Vice and Kim spotted Vhong Navarro next, who was then wearing dark blue boxers, which the latter was able to guess right. Thus, she was able to regain the Php 2000 she gave Vice earlier.

The two had to split the Php 1000 as they checked what Ogie Alcasid’s underwear was. As he showed a portion of his black boxer briefs, Kim got the “boxers” right, while Vice got “black” correct. So, the latter decided that they would get Php 500 each.

They then moved on to Teddy Corpuz, who was then on standby as the “gong-bassador” for that day’s episode of Tawag ng Tanghalan. He was wearing both boxers in red stripes and black briefs, so the two had to split the prize anew. Vice tried to trick Kim, while Teddy attempted to confuse them further, yet they’re able to figure out the right thing to do.

Vice and Kim then approached their floor director Ervin “Dumbo” Plaza, who revealed that he had blue boxers as underwear. Kim was able to guess “boxers,” thus she got Php 1000. Since she predicted the wrong color, Vice took back the Php 500.

The last one they’re able to ask was Ion Perez, who was wearing a black boxer briefs then. The Unkabogable Host was able to guess it right except the color, so he received Php 500 from the Chinita Princess.
