Sam Milby admitted that he and fellow singer Moira Dela Torre are no longer friends, confirming that he unfollowed her on Instagram because of their falling-out.

It can be recalled that speculations of misunderstanding between Milby and Dela Torre arose in January after eagle-eyed netizens noticed that the former no longer follows the “Paubaya” singer on the social media platform.

Milby opened up about this in an interview with entertainment reporter MJ Felipe on ABS-CBN’s “On Cue,” with the singer recalling how the two of them had a sibling-like relationship.

“Before, we’ve always been brother and sister. We were very close,” he stated. “I was there when he was just starting his career, when he was rising. I was pushing her and I was supporting her.”

When asked if he is currently friends with Dela Torre, Milby made an outright response. “We are not friends anymore.”

Milby further disclosed that they have not been close since late 2024, opting not to share the reason behind their falling-out.

“It’s an issue that’s a bit more sensitive, I think. I feel like it’s not only with me but—it’s just something I don’t really want to talk about. We’re just not friends anymore,” he said.
