Halos hindi makapaniwala ang TV host-actress na si Kim Chui sa kanyang kauna-unahang award bilang host.
Nasungkit ni Kim ang Best Female TV Host award sa 35th Star Awards For Television ng Philippine Movies Press Club (PMPC) na ginanap sa grand ballroom ng Winford Manila Resort and Casino sa Maynila noong January 28, 2023.
Sa episode ng ABS-CBN noontime show na It’s Showtime noong Lunes, January 30, 2023, emosyonal na pinasalamatan ni Kim ang It’s Showtime family sa tiwalang ibinigay sa kanya upang maging isa sa mga host ng programa.
Mensahe niya, “Thank you, [It’s] Showtime. Grabe, first award ko ito, legit na ako.
“Legit na ako, thank you so much. May resibo, I want to cry.”
Aminado si Kim na hindi niya forte ang pagiging host, ngunit dahil sa It’s Showtime ay binigyan daw siya ng pagkakataong mag-explore.
Saad niya, “Hindi ko naman strength ang hosting. Naglalaro lang naman tayo rito, feeling ko.
“Pero salamat sa It’s Showtime dahil binigyan niyo ako ng pagkakataon.
“Every day, binibigyan niyo ako ng endless chances and endless opportunity. At yung award na yan kasi first award ko.
Bukod sa mga kasamahan sa programa, nagpasalamat din si Kim sa kanyang fans at mga masugid na tagasubaybay ng It’s Showtime.
Aniya, “Sa lahat po ng sumusuporta sa akin at laging tumatawa sa mga jokes ko kahit waley, salamat at mabuhay kayong lahat.”
Dagdag pa niya, “Lets share good vibes every day. Thank you [It’s] Showtime, I love you all.”
“LEGIT HOST NA ako!”
Samantala, sa Instagram post ni Kim noong January 31, muli niyang inalala kung paano siya nagsimula sa hosting hanggang sa makamit niya ang Best Female TV Host award.
