“DAY 1! Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino start filming for their first ever film together in ‘My Love Will Make You Disappear’— directed by Chad Vidanes. See you soon in cinemas! 🎬” the film outfit posted on social media.
Fans online were quick to express their excitement about the news.
“I’ve been waiting for this! At last I’ll get to watch this in cinemas soon,” another fan wrote.

Kim and Paulo previously headlined What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim and Linlang.
It was in August when it was announced that Kim and Paulo will star in their first film together.
“Dahil nadala na namin kayo sa TV, sa tour, ngayon sasabihin na namin, may isang malaking regalo kami ni Paulo sa inyo kasama ang Star Cinema ang My Love Will Make You Disappear,” Kim shared in August in noontime show It’s Showtime.
Director Chad revealed that it will be a romantic-comedy movie, saying: “Siyempre, na-miss natin ‘yung pelikulang rom-com mula sa Star Cinema. Pre-pandemic pa ata noong huling nagkaroon tayo ng true-blue rom-com from Star Cinema.”
He continued: “Itong concept na ‘to [ay ginawa ni] Prime Cruz and to be written by Patrick Valencia and Isabella Policarpio. Very interesting siya sa akin. Classic siya, classic rom-com, very bago.”

Though plot details are still under wraps, Chad hinted that the story explores “how the magic of love can lead to wild and fun moments.” He highlighted: “It’s very interesting to me. It’s a classic romcom, yet feels very fresh.”
The director also hinted that audiences could look forward to plenty of surprises as Star Cinema embarks on a new era of filmmaking.
