Pormal nang naghain ng reklamo ang Sparkle artist na si Sandro Muhlach laban sa dalawang taong inakusahan niya ng pang-aabuso — sina Jojo Nones at Richard “Dode” Cruz.
Kasama ang kanyang ama, ang dating Child Wonder na si Niño Muhlach, nagtungo si Sandro sa tanggapan ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Pagkatapos ng pagsasampa nila ng reklamo sa NBI, at tulad ng kanyang ipinangako, ipinadala ni Niño sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Porta) ngayong Biyernes ng gabi, Agosto 2, 2024, ang official statement ng pamilya nila tungkol sa karahasang naranasan ni Sandro pagkatapos ng GMA Gala noong Hulyo 20.
Saad ni Niño: “Our family has suffered so much because of the unspeakable and vile acts done to our son.
“We ask for your prayers to help us muster enough strength and courage to withstand the horror of re-living the dastardly acts of the perpetrators as we seek justice through our legal system.
“Thank you for all your support and kind words and your gracious gift of space. We truly appreciate it.”
Samantala, sa text message na ipinadala ni Sandro sa GMA Integrated News, sinabi nito: “Hindi po ako OK pero kakayanin ko po.”
Sa opisyal na pahayag na inilabas ng GMA Network noong Huwebes, Agosto 1, pinangalanan nila sina Nones at Cruz, na siyang tinutukoy na “independent contractors” na sangkot sa alegasyon ni Sandro.
